These terms apply to this website, svdt.club, including the Challenge Brain tool and the donation pages. The site is run by SVDT.club ("we", "us"), a 501(c)(3) U.S. nonprofit. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who can use the site

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site. Our AI provider doesn't allow its services to be used by people under 18. If you use the site on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

Challenge Brain and AI-generated content

Challenge Brain is a free brainstorming aid. The "experts" you meet, including their names, portraits, and opinions, are generated by artificial intelligence (Google's Gemini). They are not real people, and what they say doesn't represent the views of any real person or of SVDT.club.

AI-generated content can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or out of date, and other users may receive similar results. Use your own judgment, and check anything important before you rely on it.

Nothing on this site is professional advice. It isn't legal, financial, tax, investment, medical, mental-health, or any other professional advice. For decisions in those areas, talk to a qualified professional. You're responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take based on what you read here.

What you type

You keep ownership of what you type into Challenge Brain. You give us permission to process it only to run your session, which includes sending it to our AI provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. We hold it only for the duration of your session.

Please don't enter confidential or sensitive information, such as trade secrets, passwords, or health or financial details, and don't enter personal information about other people. Only enter content you have the right to share.

Using the results

You may use the brainstorming results for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, and we don't claim ownership of them. Because they're generated by AI, we can't promise that they're original or free of other people's rights.

Acceptable use

When using the site, please don't:

break the law or anyone's rights, or use the site to harass, defame, deceive, or harm others;
try to make the AI produce illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise harmful content, or try to get around its safeguards or reveal its instructions;
present AI-generated content as the words of a real person or as a statement by SVDT.club;
use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools, or get around usage limits;
interfere with, overload, or probe the security of the site, or try to access anything that isn't meant for you.

We may limit, suspend, or block access for anyone who breaks these rules or puts the site or its users at risk.

Donations

Donations are voluntary, one-time gifts to SVDT.club, made in U.S. dollars. They're processed by Stripe on its own secure checkout page, under Stripe's terms and privacy policy. You don't receive any goods or services in exchange for a donation.

SVDT.club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your donation may be tax-deductible to the extent the law allows; check with your tax advisor. Stripe emails you a receipt, which you should keep for your records. If you give $250 or more and need a written acknowledgment for tax purposes, contact us.

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you made a mistake, such as the wrong amount or a duplicate payment, contact us within 30 days and we'll work with you to put it right.

Our content

The site's design, text, logo, and software belong to SVDT.club or its licensors. Please don't copy or reuse them, beyond normal personal use of the site, without our permission. Names and logos of other companies belong to their owners.

Availability

The site is free to use. Usage limits apply, the AI may sometimes be unavailable or at capacity, and we may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

Disclaimer

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and all of its content, including AI-generated content, are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, SVDT.club and its directors, officers, volunteers, and partners won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to US$100. Some places don't allow some of these limits; where that's the case, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Indemnity

If your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site leads to a claim against SVDT.club, you agree to cover the resulting losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the site will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part of these terms, that doesn't mean we give up the right to. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.
